Countdown

The element of the countdown timer became visually and tempoarlly interesting to me in film school. There is one painting that is missing from this page, Countdown, as I do not have an image of it, but that painting and the charcoal drawing, Study for Countdown, first captured it as part of my visual vocabulary. Usually accompanied by a transitional background, these paintings are about limited time or transcending time.
